Look n Speak is a picture-and-pronunciation learning app made by Kevston Software (“we”, “us”). In short: the app does not collect, store, or share any personal information, and nothing you say or do in the app ever leaves your device.

Who the app is for

Look n Speak is designed for children, including deaf and hard-of-hearing children, who are learning to pronounce words. Because the app collects no personal data and sends nothing off the device, it can be used without a parent or guardian providing any personal information.

Microphone

The app asks permission to use your device’s microphone so it can check pronunciation. When you tap to speak a word:

Information stored on your device

So it can remember your progress between sessions, the app saves the following on your device only:

This information stays on your device and we cannot see it. You can erase all of it at any time by choosing “Clear Progress” from the home screen menu, or by uninstalling the app.

What the app does not do

Network use

The app does not require an internet connection for normal use and does not send or receive your information over the internet.

Third parties

We do not share information with third parties, because we do not collect any.

Children’s privacy

Look n Speak is suitable for children. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above and include the new version in an app update.
